Caritas Spain Visits EC-AUP-COERR Project in Mae La Camp

   On November 27, 2018, Mr. Rafael del Rio, President of Caritas Spain and his team of Asia Heads paid a visit to Ban Mae La Camp in Ta Song Yang district, Tak Province to monitor COERR-EC-AUP Livelihood Project in Thai-Myanmar border camps aiming at strengthening capacities and developing sustainable livelihood opportunities for the Myanmar refugees largely encamped along the Thai-Myanmar border in preparation for eventual repatriation.

   Since 1984, COERR has been continuously working in all refugee camps along the Thai-Myanmar border, presently 9 locations in 4 provinces: Mae Hong Son, Tak, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi, where the Livelihood Project is being implemented by COERR, co-funded by the European Union and Caritas Spain.
